I'm up at Susie and Ray's lake house. Relaxing is the name of the game. I'm almost done with a crossword puzzle and beer. It's a race now.

Happy holidays to all you peoples out there. Hanukkah has been fun this year. Kristin and I bought our first Menorah together and we've been lighting the candles every night. The only damper was that Kristin's folks were supposed to come visit, but were completely snowed in (3 feet of snow in Seattle?!?) so they got refunds on their flight and we have a week in which we suddenly have no plans...

In spite of my determined and dogged relaxation regimen, I managed to get the history manager working in my photography portfolio site prototype. So that means that the back/forward buttons actually work in the javascript gallery and you can copy/paste links to individual images. That fixes my biggest gripe with javascript driven galleries... Oh yeah.

Next on the list is touching up photos from my shoot on Sunday. It was a cave-girl theme up at Castle Rock. It was rainy and 40 degrees, but we hiked up and set up shop in the cave at the top. Since it was such gloomy weather we were the only people there, so that was rad. I'll post pics later.

The people responsible for the travesty of html that is http://photographyportfolio.net, however, should be punished for their crimes against html; preferably something involving a maze covered in advertising and poisoned spikes. I think I threw up a little when I first saw this page.
